Festival of the Arts is an annual gathering at Hillsboro High School where students, parents, and the community are welcome to come and enjoy all of the Hillsboro students' creative abilities. Guests are welcome to view performances by the Hillsboro Chamber Orchestra and Concert Band, the Hillsboro Players, the Sophisticats, and vocal students in. Another main attraction to the Festival of Art is the great Visual Arts program. During and following the auditorium performances, in the small gym, there will be the opportunity to view featured art works created by Hillsboro Visual Arts and Photography students using a wide variety of media which include award winning pieces. Musical entertainment will be provided by Hillsboro students and members of the Hillsboro community. Ryan Jennings will be playing sitar and David Gilmore on drums. FOR THE FIRST TIME, I will be showing my David Steine print along with a few other surprises! It's going to be great and I hope you can make it out that night.
